The Full Custom range of bikes has few limits and most any type of skinny tired bike is available. This can be something as simple as a road bike with room for wider tires and fenders or as in depth as a fully loaded expedition bike, and most anything in between.
Full Custom bikes are as unique as their owners and are built to a specific purpose. One very pragmatic and popular choice is a travel bike, built with S&S couplers, that allows the bike to be disassembled into smaller pieces. The bike and wheels will fit into a 26”x26”x10” case that can be flown on commercial airlines without incurring an oversize baggage charge. This means that you can travel far from home but still ride your own bike that fits and handles as it should when you are taking that trip of a lifetime. The S&S couplers can be fit to most any bike.
Full Custom bikes are available with either lugged or fillet brazed construction. Lugged bikes can have custom lug shaping for a personalized look, while fillet brazing has a wonderful seamless, organic and timeless aesthetic. Most of the fillet frames I build are done that way just for the unique look but they also allow for the use of non-standard sizes or geometry.
