This summer has been the summer of shop improvements and the final phase of the work is done – The Green Floor. I don’t know if you’ve ever painted a garage/shop floor before but if you haven’t you are really missing out on the fun. I painted the floor many years ago and it had worn reasonably well but it had started to look pretty rough. So after much cleaning, degreasing, sanding, painting and waiting for the oil based industrial paint to cure it’s all done. I had to take a few photos of it while it looks good because I have a feeling that it might not be too shiny for too long.
So if you want to see it while it still gleams come by soon.
Later,
Dave

What I find amazing is you’re able to produce frames of such quality with that small, bare bones looking yet tidy workspace. Good for you!
Thanks for the comment. I learned a long time ago that the bigger the space the more room to collect junk and the more there is to clean…….. and I like a clean space but I don’t like cleaning so there you go. Simple and tidy and small are good for me.

Dave – What size of Redline is that? Do you get the chance to ride it often?
It’s a Redline Proline 24″ Cruiser. I do get to ride it a good bit. There is a top shelf track bout 10 minutes from my house so I go over once or twice a week if I can. Nothing will build snap and bike handling skills like spending time on the BMX track.
Do you ride?
Dave
I don’t ride BMX anymore but, back in the day, I was a strong recreational BMX’er. My main rig was a PK Ripper and I’ve thought about getting a Big Ripper to cruise around.
